  3. To manage Users who are members of YOSHIMOTO services.

  6. To analyze advertising effectiveness, conduct market analysis, and perform marketing activities.

    2. When necessary for the protection of human life, body, or property, and obtaining Users’ consent is difficult;
    3. When specifically necessary for the improvement of public health or the promotion of healthy child development, and obtaining Users’ consent is difficult;
    4. When necessary to cooperate with national institutions, local governments, or their delegated parties in the execution of duties stipulated by law, and obtaining Users’ consent may impede the execution of such duties;
    5. Other cases where exceptions for third-party provision are permitted by law.
  2. Notwithstanding the preceding provision, in the following cases, the recipient of such personal information shall not be deemed as a third party:
    1. When Personal Information is provided as a result of entrusting (outsourcing) the handling of Personal Information in whole or in part within the scope necessary to achieve the intended purposes;
    2. When Personal Information is provided due to business succession resulting from a merger or other reasons;
    3. When Personal Information is provided for joint use as stated in Article 6.

Article 6 (Joint Use of Personal Information)

YOSHIMOTO may provide Personal Information to specific parties for the purpose of joint use. In such cases, YOSHIMOTO shall disclose in advance the categories of Personal Information to be jointly used, the scope of parties jointly using it, the purposes of use by such parties, and the name or designation, address, and, in the case of entities, the name of the representative responsible for the management of the Personal Information to be jointly used.

Article 7 (Changes to this Policy)

YOSHIMOTO may amend this Policy as necessary to comply with legal revisions and business requirements. In the event of any changes to this Policy, YOSHIMOTO will publish the amended terms on its website.

Article 8 (Procedures for Disclosure, Correction, etc.)

  1. Users may, in accordance with this article and related regulations of YOSHIMOTO, make the following requests to YOSHIMOTO within the limits permitted by the Act on the Protection of Personal Information:
    1. Request for notification of the purpose of use of Personal Information;
    2. Request for disclosure of Personal Information or records of third-party provision;
    3. Request for correction, addition, or deletion of Personal Information;
    4. Request for suspension of use of Personal Information;
    5. Request for suspension of provision of Personal Information to third parties.
  2. When making the requests in the preceding paragraph, please submit documents for personal identification (such as a driver’s license, health insurance card, or copy of resident registry) to specify the nature of the request or claim and for identity verification.
